December 9, 2005 we convened a broadband roundtable of state & local market & policy leaders & influentials in Virginia�s high speed Internet market to:
Encourage all local communities in Virginia to establish formal broadband strategies.
Learn status of in-state local projects
Propose actions or policies at the state level to support community efforts to develop strategies to stimulate local broadband deployment.
Hear experiences from communities across Virginia who are creating bold plans, adopting policies and undertaking innovative public/private partnerships to extend and enhance local broadband infrastructure. Find out what�s working and what needs more work.
